Leaves Large Family to Mourn Her Death---
Pneumonia and Old Age Cause Death.---- Mrs. Wilhelmine Mueller, an aged resident of this city, passed away this morning about 8 o'clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Joseph Phillips, at 1037 Lucas street. The cause of her death was pneumonia and old age. Being 83 years of age she was very feeble and for the past winter had been ill the greater part of the time. It was not thought that her condition was serious, however, until about a week ago, when she contracted a severe cold, which developed into pneumonia. She was one of the oldest residents of this city and leaves many children and grandchildren.---- Born in Germany.---- She was born in Germany on February 23, 1824, and came to this country in 1883, coming directly to this city with her husband. She was united in marriage to Wilhelm Mueller in Germany and he preceded her in death seven years.---- Leaves Many Children.---- Mrs. Mueller leaves to mourn her death, many friends who have known her during her life in this city. She is survived by four children, 25 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. The children are: Mrs. Freda Wetzel, of Lucas street; Mrs. Wilhelm Keller, of Grandview avenue; Mrs. Carl Schulz, of Logan street; and Mrs. Joseph Phillips, 1037 Lucas street. The deceased was a member of the German Lutheran church of this city, and the funeral services will be conducted by Rev. George Meier, pastor of that church. The services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the family residence.----"THE MUSCATINE JOURNAL", Muscatine, Iowa, Friday, February 22, 1907, page 10----FUNERAL ANNOUNCEMENT.----Mueller Funeral Will Be Held Saturday Afternoon.--- The funeral of Mrs. Mueller will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the residence, 1037 Lucas street. The pall bearers will be Christian Zeug, Chris Jagow, William Witt, Wm. Dittman, Herman Koepping, Robert Hook.
